Paid Advertising Equivalents, Public Relations, Marketing and Measuring Success

My friend Gini Dietrich wrote an excellent post about the changing industry of public relations.  It’s fascinating to me that there are still PR holdouts, determined to silo the practice away from marketing tactics and healthy use and understanding of digital communications. Alas, it is so. Here are some of my thoughts on the topic.

    I got to watch the video this morning, but am sorry for getting here late to comment. Totally agree on the PAE. It’s irritating that our industry still thinks that’s OK. Sigh…

    Thanks Gini. I was a bit flummoxed by the reference, myself.
